Drs. Bailey and Dixon enter an elevator. Dr Dixon explains her fascination and sole interest - the human heart. (She'd been giving others at Seattle Grace random facts about heart surgery that day.)
Dr. Dixon: "Are you familiar with Asperger Syndrome, Dr. Bailey?"
Dr. Bailey: "Uh, of course. Uh...significant impairment during social situations."
Dr. Dixon: "I'm not good at cues like sarcasm or condescention, but I do know when I'm being manipulated and when I'm being made fun of."
Dr. Dixon steps out of the elevator.
Dr. Dixon: "I don't think I like this...hospital very much."
She turns around to face Dr. Bailey.
Dr Dixon: "I don't think I like this hospital at all."
Dr. Bailey: O.o
I really hope they keep Dr. Dixon for more than 3 episodes. Yes, the Asperger's is a little exaggerated and stereotyped; however, Mary McDonnell (from Dances With Wolves) does an awesome portrayal of showing that Aspies may be "a little off" as other characters comment, but we can be (and are) successful.
Great guest appearances by August Schellenberg and Journeyman's Kevin McKidd. :-)
