So today was pretty fun!
After school I got a ride home from Greg and we stopped by my house to pick up some stuff my mom had for me. She had some bread from the Harvest Bread Company sitting out so I took a piece. So me and Greg ate honey wheat bread on the way to Joey's which was about 2 seconds away. Him and Eric had some music blasting but me and Greg were eating bread....therefore we were a lot cooler. : )
Anywho....Eric brought over Fight Club. It was a good movie....I think it would have been a good movie even if Brad Pitt wasn't in it That's actually saying a lot. Although, I must admit, Brad Pitt does make the movie more appealing for one who hasn't seen it yet. He made such an attractive "bad guy"
So the weather today was ABSOLUTELY...so typical Central Illinois. Haha...I mean..it was sunny, rainy/sunny, rainy/cloudy, hailing, sunny, and finally windy/bitter ALL in one day. Oh how I love you, Central Illinois. You never cease to amaze me with your randomness.
Source tonight was pretty much awesome. I came in late thanks to me not keeping track of time....eh. I sat next to Ms. Lisa and later Ed Plumier came and sat next to me. I took off my flip flops and set them in front of me and Ed definitely took one of them and hid them...I still have no clue where he took it. It reminded me of CIY this summer so much. Let's reminisce a little, shall we?
This past summer we went to CIY at Carbondale and for one of the worship sessions we had front row seats to the right of the stage. The way it was set up was that there was a stage and then behind the stage was a black curtain the length of the gym. In the middle of one of the songs, Ed took my flip flop nonchalantly walks up to a part of this curtain and puts it right behind the curtain without my knowing. So later I look down and realize that I don't have one of my flip flops....Ed pointed me in the right direction and I finally got it back....oh....well...that story wasn't nearly as entertaining as I remember it. Oh well.
So tonight was a good old trip down memory lane. I suppose. Well it was fun anywho. I think that Ed and Ms. Lisa are two of my favorite people as of late. Yay, for fun people!
This is the section of my update where I send a shout out to the coolest birthday boy that march 30th is ever going to see...that's right, Joey...you know it's you! Happy Birthday...hope it was fabulous!
On another note...the stars were out tonight. Thank goodness too. I'm a little stressed out right now so i went for a run under the stars. It was such a nice experience. Before I cooled down I pretty much sprinted down this street that's a little bit down hill. It was really windy so it felt great. I needed that tonight...I'm not really any less stressed, but at least I can pretend to be. Haha....oh goodness.
Well I think I'll go shower it up and run through my Nocturne and Concerto before I hit the sack.
Sweet dreams everybody!
