A/N: I was trying to fall asleep damnit.
He swam out of sleep reluctantly and opened bleary eyes to glare at the bedside clock. Who the hell was banging on his door at two in the morning? Easing out of bed, he fumbled around for boxers in the light shining from the partially closed bathroom door. Padding to the door, he peered through the peephole, blinked, shook his head, and looked again.
"I'm so sorry to bother you so late." Her voice, a voice he'd missed for months, washed over him as he opened the door. "I know I know I know I should have waited til daylight but I just couldn't wait." She hiccuped.
"You're drunk off your ass." He wrinkled his nose at the waves of booze emanating from her.
"Nononono. Just tipsy. Needed courage to come see you, to tell you how sorry I am. I should have never dumped you for him. It was wrong and awful and I know you were best friends and I'm so sorry." She inhaled and launched herself at him, wrapping arms around his waist and nearly knocking him to the floor.
She buried her face in his bare chest and he felt her tears trickle over his skin. It was like a dream come true but only after the dream was no longer wanted. He recognized her scent under the alcohol and the feel of her curves pressed into him. Unwrapping her arms, he pushed her away and back over the threshold.
"Don't tell me it's too late, Changsun. You were the best thing to ever happen to me but I was too blinded by his charm to realize it. He's an asshole and you are a sweetheart. He left me at the alter, high and dry in front of friends and family. Said it was no more than I deserved. Can you believe what an ass Seungho is?"
"I'm sure he can." Seungho wrapped his arms around Changsun's waist, pressing his bare skin into his back.
Her mouth fell open and her tear and booze-reddened eyes widened. "What the hell are you doing here?"
Nuzzling Changsun's neck, he smiled slightly. "I live here."
"No. No. It can't be."
Changsun relaxed into Seungho's embrace. "You should be asleep, baby." He repressed a smirk at her look of dawning horrified realization.
"I would be but the bed is so cold and lonely without you."
On a long wailed "no", she sank to her knees as Changsun shut and locked the door.
