I have mixed feelings about suicide girls. On one hand, it's great that these women are in control of their photos, they get paid, and they are exercising their right to sell and expose their own body. On the other hand, it paints "alternative-looking" women as exhibitionist. I had some respect for it until it came out with it's "burlesque tour," which is far more "amature night at a crappy strip club" than an authentic burlesque show.
i'm glad someone else at least sees my viewpoint on the burlesque thing. i remember my ex bought tickets, and i scoffed... i doubted it was authentic burlesque, and then i got the reviews.
anyway, i've read pro and con stuff about them, been to the site. my ex had a membership so i'd check it out at his house.
i've read interviews in which the girls have said, "i never felt truly beautiful until i got accepted by the site." what does that tell you? i think it's really sad, myself. so that's why i'm not really sure if it's about female empowerment so much as an ego boost.
plus, any of the girls on that site can easily be cleaned up and groomed into a nice "normal-looking" girl. there's no variety in body types, no variety in facial features. when i go to the site, all i see are a bunch of skinny female distillers fans with small tits and a couple tattoos.
blah. i'm all for sexy photos, and i'm not exactly feminist material. but that site just pisses me off.
yea alot of girls are like no they are empowered? im like yeah right so empowered that they have to sign a contract to ONLY nude model on the sg site and none other? also sean the co-creator (who is a rabid bush supporter)said he wouldnt want bigger girls on the site beacuse he thinks it would turn into a fetish site i guess big to him means a size 7 beacuse a current model Polly has had her sets constantly rejected beacuse of her recent weight gain. also suicide girls are basically a hot topic version of playboy. theres nothing "revolutionary" about them

suicide girls is a bunch of girls who aren't doing porn, and aren't doing art, but guys still whack off to it and they still think that makes them liberated. trust fund babies prancing around in their undies. when i want to jack off i watch real porn, when i wanna respect a girl i don't go to a suicide girls party.
