The other day I took advantage of the rare beautiful summer day and went hiking.  I went to the top of south mountain by the radio towers and smoked a joint while watching the storms come in from the Indian reservations and move over downtown.  I was inside a little cave area so I didn't even get wet when it rained.  About 5 or 10 minutes after finding my cave, I looked to my left to see a huge hawk sitting on its nest about 10 feet away from me!  It was incredible!  And on my hike down, I found a giant desert tortoise!!  Everything was out enjoying the rainy weather (except people, of course).
