No, that's not it. I'm sure others have important things they need to do back home as well, I'm sure I'm not special thinking this in any way. But it's not something I can roll over and accept just because people tell me to. I have friends back home who are in danger, who need my help. So I can't just quit and abandon them, I have to try and find a way back.
