Hey guys, it needs to be put out there that whatever political convictions we may have, this community is really about Jesus Christ, the gospel of Christ and christianity, albeit with predominantly the protestant and evangelical flavour.

From time to time topics of a sensitive nature come up, most recently I have made some posts on the threat of islam on christianity. This does not mean that the moderators are anti muslim, nor do we prescribe to or encourage our viewers to hate of these people. We do not see them as "bad" people as we are wrongly accused of doing, we see them like we see ourselves: Sinners, badly in need of our saviour Jesus Christ. We do however think it is important to highlight what is happening in the world around us from time to time, and what others are saying about Christians and Jews also, who we all know have held a special position with God himself.

Of course members are welcome to disagree and challenge any idea if they feel so inclined bearing in mind the guidelines of the community.

We prefer not to control what people post or comment about in this community (there are no banned topics at the moment), but we will not allow people to deliberately use this community as a platform for creating division from our unity in Christ, detracting from the central theme of the relationship between us and the living God  or trying to turn topics into political fiasco's. If you have any doubt about posting something that may be contentious, or replying in anger, think twice before you do so (I think we have all been guilty of hitting that quick reply button at times!), and if you have any concern or need reassurance on a particular matter, please don't hesitate to contact any one of the mods (jamjar_girl , broken_skai or myself) directly first. We will be happy to assist.

Bear in mind that even the mods have their issues sometimes, we are human too after all. We try our best to keep this a safe and friendly commuity in which you can for the large part be encouraged, and I hope this is indeed the case.

We welcome you to share an experience you have had, word of wisdom, an exhortation, or a question. towards to the glory of Jesus Christ, our Lord.

6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with youra]">[a] faith; 7 if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; 8 if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead,b]">[b] do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully. - Romans 12:6-7

Blessings to you all in Jesus.
