Long Overdue Update
Hey, guys, it's been a LONG time since I updated, lol. My first year at UAH is done, and you know what I've learned? Go prepared, or else college will kick your tail. I was sick a lot, but i also just slacked off more than i needed to. Anyways, hopefully I now have a handle on things, and I'm getting back on track. God is good, ya know? Things are tight financially, and keep getting tighter, but it's times like these that God shows His faithfulness. I actually won something. Me, who never wins anything, actually won something. And I'm not talking about a toaster or CD player, no. I won FREE HOUSING next Spring at UAH. $2100. Can I get an amen on that? It was a random drawing that UAH Housing did of all students that had signed up for housing next year and paid their $100 commitment fee. 2 students from each of the 3 dorms got it, and I was one of the 2 from NCRH. I was so shocked when they called my name that all I could do was yell HOLY CRAP!!! at the top of my lungs, lol. Kinda scared James, I think. As always, God is there. Anyways, a lot of stuff has happened. I finally got around to going to Campus Crusade, a Christian student organization at UAH that meets one Tuesday nights at 8:48 during Fall and Spring semesters, and 7:30 during the summer. Anyone going to UAH, I highly encourage getting involved, it's awesome. This summer I may be a part of a video team, where basically we're gonna make fools of ourselves on camera. I will be doing this along with my normal times of making a fool of myself off camera, haha. But for the first time in my memory, I am dreading summer. I have to take 14 hours of classes over the summer, and it might end up being 18. Yuck. But, I'll get through it. By the way, any mutual friends of me and James, I would like to ask you to do us a favor. We(being myself and others from UAH) have finally identified James's personality. He is Fighter from the 8-bit Theater web comic. He continues to deny this, but there is no doubt. He is having trouble facing reality. So please, for his benefit, begin calling him Fighter on a regular basis. I have also been identified as Black Mage.
