The new AGD extension
So I assume those of you who are in the AGD LJ group heard about our future new colony at Virginia Tech.
That brings up something I forgot to mention.
I received this email from IHQ a week ago. I'm guessing it was sent to all alumnae in the SF Bay area because to this date I have had no contact or involvement with the alumnae chapter here (I think they may be slackers or something... I believe all their alumnae "advisors" are recent graduates from the chapter). Anyway, according to IHQ, the University of San Francisco, which a private university very much like UT, was taking bids from NPC groups interested in colonizing. Whoever is supposed to be in charge of AGD in SF royally screwed up because AGD failed to make ANY presentation to the school or formally state their interest. So, naturally, AGD wasn't picked.
This would've been awesome because USF (haha, not south florida but san francisco -- which is also confusing because they have the same colors!!) is in my neighborhood and I could've done a lot there!
Hmm... maybe I should take charge of this so-called alumnae chapter. I tried contacting the alumnae, but that didn't get me in. So maybe I'll contact the officers at SFSU, the local chapter...
