well the praise band had a "meeting" well basically it was carol and wendy telling me that my opinions suck and that if i don't like something in the praise group...then don't come. heck i wish it was that easy but with Ben gone for who knows how long, i am the only one who knows how to work the MediaShout. and you have no idea how tempting it is to just go drop the comp off in the closet and not come for the next 3 weeks...just to see what would happen...but as usual Carol is a complete bitch and is to stupid to realize that if i leave that wouldn't get done, not to mention that Gary would be stuck on bass again, and would end up having family problems again. (his wife is randomly overprotective, and won't let him play with the praise band more then 2 weeks a month) I guess Ben and I arn't really wanted in the group...then again they keep saying 'I'm not seeing how you arn't agnoliged" grr...and they keep asking me whats wrong with Ben...if they are so concerned...ASK HIM YOUR SELF...so when i decide to tell them what the last straw was...they just got over protective, and barked at me about how carol has been in the group from the start (fyi, she wasn't there from the start...the start was Norma, Gary, & Mike) and that if the system has worked for 11 years its just hunky dory...fine...they don't want my imput...i won't give them any...no new music, no coments what so ever.
ya know this sucks...cuz the same thing happens everywhere, those people in College arn't welcomed into churches...it happened in Ft. wayne, and it happens here obviously...the ELCA even has a couple of ministies that try to keep the college kids in the church, but that really dosn't work when the church obviously dosn't give a shit about them.
