a little lonely, that is. when the lady is away, ruby will play, if playing means sitting around and pining. or ruby gets drunk and does karaoke.
i cut my fingernails yesterday, i like em pretty short, to the quick really. my friend brought me some kelp he had pickled, and it didn't occur to me that dunking my freshly shorn fingers into vinager and salt might not be the best of ideas.
the outcome: constant finger pain. redness. tenderness. slight swelling. infection perhaps?
