We started real practice times last week: weights monday and friday morn 6:30am till 7:50ish. Practice every night 2:15pm till 4:30pm, morn practice 6:00am till 8:00am and then saturday 7:00am-9:30am and we get wed morn off. On saturday we did a pentathalon (100fly,100bk,100br,100fr,100im from heats) I ended up breaking the pentathalon 100 bk record. It was loren sweny's old record, haha. Today my coach Ben brought out these new toys which you hook onto the lane rope right where the flags are and you have to get your feet past them or else you hit it and have to do push-ups until that 400im is done... it was soo effing hard not hitting it. It was like 400 frees and 400ims and then some 50's fast spec. I was sucking so hard because my body wasn't circulating anymore because of the lack of oxygen and the pool was freezing tonight. I'm still not used to the altitude... but i'm better off then i was before. I'm still getting pissed off about the direction they freakin swim here.. ugh.
This weekend was lots of fun, it was one of the diver girl's 21st birthday (kelsey, she's from Edmonton) so the girls house had a double kegger. Everyone got trashed, a really horny dyke was at the party and it was soo funny, she asked one of the swimmer guy's to start punching her. He was just like yea " remember that dyke at the party? i got to punch her" and it turned out a bunch of guys got to punch the dyke too!! HAHA. She was walking around smelling girls and she started hitting on me and it was so hard not to make jokes to the dyke considering i was trashed... she REALLY wanted my friend Leah (also canadian). I totally have a new SC now... haha. He's my backstroke/kicking buddy and a JR.
We get a recruit this weekend... lots of the people know her and say she's a huge bitch... we're gonna get her soo trashed.
I finally might get a phone this thurs... finally... like holy shit there were so many problems w getting a cellphone here. I got my mailbox adderess finally!!! I don't have it w me though... i'll email it to you guys later though!!!
