the only place i would have rather been at is a jay-z concert. the roots were freaking amazing.

How was Common...?

Did he do only BE songs or stuff from Electric Circus and LWFC?

he was good, he only did a mini set. he did like 4-5 songs from be, nothing from electric circus (that album was good but wasnt recieved very well) he did i used to love h.e.r. and the light and he did a new song called "talk about love" or something like that and he did like a 45 second freestyle that was crazy

No offense to The Roots, but THEY should have been opening for Common... Not the reverse, but they are a great hip-hop group...

I have owned every Common album since LWFC... He's the reason I still love h.e.r.

neeeeeeeeeeegative. while i agree common is a great MC he just doesnt have the draw that the roots do. common wouldnt've sould out that place as the headliner.

i mean, the roots just sold out radio freaking city music hall...
