top ten things i'm thankful for...
1. my faith. the one thing that gives me hope when nothing else can.
2. my grandparents. the only people who were willing to love me, when no one else in my family was willing.
3. ciara. you are my best friend, and i love you very much. you and nate are the only people i know who can make me laugh no matter how angry or sad i am, and i love you for it.
4. nate and his opinions. his thoughts on life give me a perspective i would never see on my own, and i hold his opinions dear to my heart.
5. nia. i love her so much. i know i haven't seen her much in the past couple of weeks, but i love her to death. i'm thankful that we have become closer as the years have passed. i don't think i would be the same without her.
6. my family. as screwed up as we all are, i love them. they are good people and i know they love me and are proud of me.
7. tony love and the rest of the core team members at st. vincent. they have all helped me become a better catholic, even if i fail to show it sometimes.
8. my house, and my room. as materialistic as that sounds, it is a comfort knowing that its always here, and that i belong here.
9. every day that i'm on this planet. i know that sounds super corny, and even though i don't constantly think about it and show it all the time, when it comes to the end of the day, i thank God for letting me be here and be among all the great people i have in my life.
10. my mom. without her being so selfish, i would have never been given this life. and i love how things are now. i'm so grateful that i have been given my faith and friends, things i would never have if she loved me more than she loved herself and her drugs.
