hey all,
just a quick prayer request...
We're leaving tomorrow after church for PA (well actually we're going to spend the night at camp and then go down to PA). What's in PA you ask? well lots of things really, but namely the GARBC Conference and National Talents for Christ. I'm going to Nationals! (wow that sounds scary) The competition is on Thursday (Writing) and awards service on Friday morning. But we're going down earlier so my parents can see BBC, since they've never been down there. So, I'm pretty psyched. As for the prayer request part, well, safety obviously (ROAD TRIP!) but mostly for me as I write (impromptu competition) - Clear thoughts and good memory (recalling Scripture) - but more than that I need prayer for my attitude - that my heart is in the right place and I'm motivated by the glory of Jesus Christ. If I win, Praise the Lord. If I lose, Praise the Lord - I'm writing for Jesus Christ not for scholarship (well some for scholarship). To God be the Glory!
