So I am seriously considering doing the Semester at Sea program. It sounds kind of amazing. You spend around 100 days out on sea on a huge boat. You visit somewhere between 10 and 15 different countries all around the world. You get college credit because you have to take at least 12 class credits, one of which being a Global Studies class. Even before I came to college, I always told myself that I would study abroad one semester and this would be the ultimate study abroad. I still am trying to get more details and the website is not all that specific, but it sounds super exciting. I can't quite decide if I want to do it Fall or Spring of the next school year. The two trips have most of the same places (Ghana,South Africa, India, Singapore, Vietnam, China, Japan, Hawaii, and California), but there are a couple of special places. The fall one is going to Novia Scotia, Spain, and Morrocco, but the Spring one is going to the Bahamas, Dominica, and Brazil. It's all kind of unreal...and expensive...but it's cheaper than my former plan of going to th British Academy of Dramatic Arts in London.
I have to run real quick, but I'll finish posting later.
