New LJ Friend + Memoirs of a Geisha
I added a new lj friend tonight :) Waves to pinkponytail :)
I started reading Memoirs of a Geisha this morning and I am hooked! This book is so captivating and I had a hard time putting it down. I was only gonna read for a few pages before taking a nap but I ended up reading a few chapters instead and I didn't have my nap :P Can't wait to finish reading it so that I can find out what happens in the end. I still have three unread books lying around - Mary Higgins Clark's Daddy's Little Girl, John Grisham's King of Torts and Jeffrey Archer's Son of Fortune. Gonna try finish reading them soon so that I can read Harry Potter's Order of Phoenix when it gets here in July :)
Went to Ngiu Kee after church tonight as I wanted to get Shiseido's facial cotton but the SA was off duty so I didn't get it. Ended up getting a sheer long-sleeved striped blouse that looks good at only RM35 after discount. Very cheap! The only worry I have is that I am going to see lots of other people wearing the same sort of top since many people shop at Ngiu Kee. Oh well, I hope no one at work bought it :P
