heres a few things i've learned about florida in the almost 3 months i've been here....

- time flies by! it feels like i've only been here for about a month but i'm already more than half done with the first semester.
- people say "ain't" and "ya'll" as if that was normal/correct english
- there are a ton of surfers here.... but oddly ehough, not that many waves :)
- this place is seriously half latino, and they all love dancing.
- there are a lot of old, old, drivers... and there as bad as they are old.
- think its always warm here? try being on the beach at 4 am then tell me that.
- people think us northeners are uptight... i really haven't figured out why they think this however.
- if your white, chances are your probably a republican.
- they teach the civil war differently down here. I think they still think were fighting it... plus i dunno if they've realized that they lost yet... and lastly, the rebel flag apparently is an acceptable thing to hang up here.
- you CAN get used to 85 degree weather... wow i'm really not looking forward to that 10 degree winter in chicago.
- i wish i moved here 2 years earlier haha
