unexpected vacations suck
yeah so it seems that every other weekend we have to leave for a hurricane.... this is a part of Florida I do NOT like, it is so weird. How do people deal with having to leave their homes like 4 times a year??? craziness... Anyway this hurricane business is making classes really confusing too. Homework assignments are pushed back in some classes, and pushed ahead in others. One of my teachers already left for the semester and i dont think shes coming back.
At least this time things were more fun, mostly because I went with 5 other people from PBA. We basically spent the entire extended weekend sleeping and watching movies at kim's and leardogg's house. I stayed at kims, who is an amazingly nice and giving person. Her parents are awesome too, at least this time we didn't have to stay for almost 2 weeks. Oh I forgot, we also had mariokart 64, so you know that we got down on that.
I had this revalation this weekend, which I hope I can stick to. I was talking to a friend of mine that I met this weekend, and she was talking about how guys wont talk to her cause she has a boyfriend. And in my mind, I agreed with her that guys not talking to her just cause they knew she wasn't available was bad, but it made me think of something on another tangent. Coming to PBA its strange because practically EVERYONE is in a relationship here, and at first I thought that sucked. I didn't let it change how I acted towards the girls who were in relationships, but it did frusterate me that so many people were not single. But when I thought about it, I realized getting frusterated was totally wrong because I shouldn't even CARE whether they are single for ANY reason, because I shouldn't be consciously worrying about a relationship in the first place. When the times right, I'll find someone and whats the point stressin until that point?
well to end this entry on a depressing note, the cubs are killin me. they have blown 2 saves with 2 outs, 2 strikes left. la troy hawkins, throw me a frickin bone here...
oh p.s. last week i realized i'm really good at beach volleyball, who woulda guessed THAT?!?
