Chocolate
I was wrapping presents for everybody all freaking out about whether everyone would like their presents and whether I'd gotten enough or too much or you know, if I got one for her I'd have to get one for her too right? etc, etc. And then I had one of those Dove chocolates with the fortunes in them and it said "Friendship is a gift in itself." How cute and absurdly appropriate is that? I love it when that happens. And then I wasn't going to eat another one because it would take away the specialness of that but I did anyway because they're so damn good.
My cat keeps sticking her nose on my poncho because she enjoys the thrilling static shock. Only Lucy, I swear. Now she's meowing in a very unpleasant way because she thinks I love my computer more than her. Silly kitty, she could never be considered equal to a computer! I feel bad for her now. I'll go sit with her later because she's still my baby and I seem to be the only one in this house who loves her.
I had a lot of fun this weekend. I went with Melissa to get her hair cut and took pictures of every single step. Haha it was so fun! She pretends to be angry at me but she knows she loves showing them to everybody. Then we went to the movies and saw a Series of Unfortunate Events. The sets and costumes were really good. Other than that there was too much plot and not enough movie. But it was all good. Then today we went shopping and brought everybody's presents. We saw Sam at Pizzeria Uno and she bought us dessert!! I felt bad because we couldn't eat it all. But we thanked her profusely. It was a good day.
