I'll meet you here tomorrow

So, all right, now that my dumbass has missed the deadline for an online quiz, I figure I should at the very least do something constructive with what time I would have devoted.

Well, to start off, I must say that being at the University of Houston is awesome. Most especially when compared to Tomball. Though there is now a fair bit more of a drive and walking involved, I still find it to be a vast improvement. AND THERE'S AN ARCADE OMG!! And the competition is stiff. But anyways, due to scheduling conflicts and PUMA-program-blah-blah-blah, my semester has come up a bit short at only 10 hours. The old man is trying to convince me to be a law major, so I figure I'd appease him by taking a class and trying it out. Anyways:

CUIN 3313: Information Technology for Adolecents
POLS 3357: Constitutional Law: Civil Liberties
MATH 2431: Linear Algebra

As for other concerns.

Well, one night at work these three girls come in, what I would assume to be, together. Goddamn frappuccinos, of course, like 9 out of 10 times. I preempted them by guessing their carmel fraps, which the stereotype says. Two of the girls were cheery to get their little ass-fattening indulgence of the day, but the other one stood back and remained smug. She approached, ordered a coffee and proceeded to heckle my stereotype had failed me. When she left she, in that I'm-gonna-tell-your-manager type way, ask what my name was. After a bit of hesitation I told her, to appear as if I had made it up. That, I figured, was the end of that.

The next day she was back again, by herself, studying or somesuch. I had gone up there after class on my way home and we ran into each other. We sat down and talked, she introduced herself. Overall, I had gotten a good vibe from Katy(sp?). And this went on for a few days: we'd see each other, talk and whatnot. So I decided that I'd ask her to come see Explosions in the Sky with me, which I was going to do the coming weekend. She seemed a bit iffy about it but was nonetheless more than happy to exchange numbers with me.

I called her the following day, and clarified the plans as to the concert and all that stuff. However, she couldn't go for two reasons:
1) She's 17 (18+ venue), and
2) Her parents, I suppose understandably, weren't comfortably with such a prospect

But what a tough pickle. It's been a long, long, long, long time since I've met a chick that I've been interested in that's interested in me as well. Seventeen, though? That's three years...

I'd punch babies until the brink of dawn if it'd help me figure this one out. Hell, I'd punch babies anyway.

Everybody knows you only live a day.
