It's a good insight into the conditions of people on the run. I write about people in their condition a lot and it's always much worse than I can imagine. No trust, no sleep, anyone might betray you in a flash.
It also gives me a horrible view into how sexist and vile the world really is. I don't have a problem with strong, opinionated, tough women, but lots and lots of people do. I'm glad I'm this way but it twists my guts at the sickness of most of humanity.
