Okay, then, I would say it's about time to reveal the Bonkers Project that I have been making subtle curious comments about for the last few months. I wanted to keep it as quiet as I could before I actually did it - and now it is done, with more planned, so I can announce it to the world and watch the developments and reactions to its existence.
Enough with the exaggerations, I have published my first bloody book, Stricken By Entropy. You can find it on the Kindle or the Nook; I'll publish it on Smashwords before long.
It's about a chaos mage who intercepts a goblin corporate executive in an ever-changing skyscraper. Things go wrong and he's forced to improvise with the help of a mischievious mercenary who follows him throughout the skyscraper, and the victim of a mad scientist's experiments.
It's part of a shared setting that takes place on and near a planet called Deus. My friend Kalzarius wrote a book about Deus named Crashed, about a group of interstellar travelers who get stuck on Deus and try to survive. Their landing may well have been deliberate. It's very Galactica, I kept seeing that series in my head while I read it.
We aim at writing at least two more books in the series apiece, published sometime this year or next. I hope you read all of both of them, because they will link at certain times.
