Sacred Cows of Publishing
Any writer who hasn't read Dean Wesley Smith's "Killing the Sacred Cows of Publishing" series should do so about now. He's republishing the series so he can publish it as a book (and I hope he still keeps it online, too). Whether you agree with what he's saying or not, it will challenge you in all sorts of ways. I'm inclined to think yes, it makes a lot of sense, with caveats. There's always an exception.
