D-backs vs. Cubs
lets recap what some of the players did on this awesome game. 1st lets start out with Randy Johnson P, in his innings of work he had no runs scored against him, only had aloud two hits against him and was able to get 10 K's on the cubs. Now lets talk about Richie Sexson 1B, he is finally showing what he can really do with on the D-backs team, he showed it last night with a 503 ft. home run during the game, he even hit his own picture on the jumbotron, that homerun was his 200th of his career. and a player who has just been awesome this year is Chad Tracy, The rookie third baseman made a diving backhanded play on Jose Macias' line drive in the sixth, but that turned out to just be the warmup act. The next batter, Corey Patterson lifted a foul ball down the line in left and Tracy caught it running at nearly full speed before flipping over the railing and into the handicapped seating well.
"Chad Tracy ... unbelievable plays tonight," Johnson said. "I don't think I've seen any plays like that since I've been here."
that to me was the highlight of the game and to most of the players on the team. so the D-back were able to beat the cubs and win the game with a 9-0 score.
