Hey! Say! JUMP to release new single
Hey! Say! JUMP's new single "Magic Power", set for release in September, has been decided as the Japanese theme song for upcoming animated movie "The Smurfs".
"Magic Power" was written especially, and is curiously said to have a cheerful Motown sound. It's based on the Smurfs' catchphrase for the movie which is "Even if we are small, if we work together we can do anything!" and the magic that comes from the bonds between friends.
Members Yamada Ryosuke and Chinen Yuri also make voice acting appearances as Clumsy Smurf and Brainy Smurf respectively. "The Smurfs" opens in Japan on the 9th of September.
