I was just at Panera for the past 3hrs reading/studying finance. I love there enclosed outdoor patio like thing that they put outside, it's my fav. A lot less noise, cushy comfortable seats, and ya still get the free wi-fi. Anyways, I woke up later today than anticipated, close to 11AM. I woke up with a headache again, I hate days like that. As soon as my rommie heard me flush the toilet she started a load of laundry. I had hoped for some more time in bed, but that wasn't about to happed with the noise from the washer (right next to my bedroom door). So I get moving and have breakfast and shower, still fighting a headache. I pop some Excedrin migraine in hopes of some comfort. The people below me then start blaring their sub and my head feels like it's about to burst. I had to get out of there. So off to Panera I went. Anyways, so I got a whole grain bagel with light cream cheese and baked chips for lunch, it was yummy. In the past two days I realized that I really love going to the cafes, Paneras, and Starbucks' in this town because you get to over hear a lot of interesting conversations from people who work at the record labels, management companies, publishing companies, etc.
OK, so anyways, the reason I started this...due to the time I woke up I decided not to make any coffee because I was planning on going to either Starbucks or Panera to study. Once I got to Panera I decided to just have water with my lunch in hopes that the hydration would help with my headache. 3hrs later I decided to head out and went inside to get a cup of coffee to go. Now, at Panera you pay for your size cup and they give it to you and you go a choose which blend you want and etc. I head over and try my number one, their hazelnut house blend, but it was all gone. I got to the light blend, and it's all gone too. So was the dark and rich blend. The only little bit of coffee left was the decaf and that's definitely not what I was in need of. Anyways, there was this mid-twenties man next to me during this and making jokes the whole time about the coffee and what we should do about it, making me laugh at the situation. His skin was incredibly dark and he looked so attractive in it, I think it was his confidence and happiness? Anyways, he said i should wait on the batch coming out because i looked like a woman who really needed her coffee (apparently it was written all over my face how I was feeling and my disparity for caffeine). He then gave a huge smile and told me he hopes I have a great day and left saying by to all of the employees as well. it was incredibly refreshing to come across someone like him, it lifted my spirits. Oh, and i did get my fresh batch of their house brewed hazelnut coffee, so I feel a little better now. Still have the achy pounding headache though. Maybe it's my period? Maybe it's this gloomy misty/rainy weather?
My finance tutor will be here in a few minutes so I must start preparing...boo. I just had to post about my encounter with that man though, he's someone worth having in writing.
