Nirvana
Today I had to get up early to go in for a store meeting on my day off. Lame...
...but after the meeting...
I purchased a venti white mocha from Starbucks. I'm walking toward the light rail with mocha in one hand and skateboard in the other with one of my favorite songs rocking through my headphones. I'm half swaying with the music/ singing along when I feel a pleasant breeze. The morning had been misty and the air was brisk and fresh. I breathed deeply inhaling the cent of a flower bed in full bloom. As I turned the corner I felt the sun warming my face. I took a sip of my mocha and...
WOW! I had this sudden sense of pure bliss which I find can only be adequately described as Nirvana. My senses were on overload and I just thought 'I'M ALIVE!' Honestly it was pretty f-ing awesome! I sped the rest of the way home on my skateboard (yes that's right, SPED) feeling indescribably invigorated...
And now I truly am the ultimate nerd because I actually did get 'high on life!'
