Well, I got back from Milan yesterday and I definently had a great time.

Before we left on Friday, I showed Matt the Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends episode with Cheese in it and he thoroughly enjoyed the part where Cheese plays cowboy, so I periodically acted it out for him throughout the trip. We had Subway for dinner, then left about 2 hours after we were supposed to. When we got there it was pretty late, so Matt and I walked around with a box of Cheezits and watched some random fireworks while my dog pooped everywhere. Then we played some Catch Phrase and went to bed.

Saturday we left for the races probably around noon and spent all day there. Three new speed records were set and Matt and I both took a fancy to the top fuel dragster sponsered by Serta (the mattress company or whatever with the sheep). Other than a guy running off the track at the end and hitting the sandtrap, nothing to bad happened. lol. The pizza was amazing and the guys working at the entrance were pretty funny and quite "stamp happy." I also found it amusing that the outhouses were cleaner than the actual bathrooms. At night they had the "jeambulance" or jet ambulance and they set off fire all over the place and then had some fireworks. They called it all the "Night of Fire" and it was pretty fricken awesome. As we were leaving some like 35-year-old man was like yelling at me, but w/e. lol.

On Sunday way less people showed up. There was less racing, because it was the finals, but some guy caught his car on fire. While they were putting out the fire, some bikers called "Scooter Trash" were entertaining the crowd with wheelies and such and one guy fell and scraped up his arm pretty bad. The finals ended up being delayed for like 2 hours, so we watched our favorite cars (the nitro funny cars and top fuel dragsters) and then left around 7:30 or 8. ((By the way, the Serta car won.)) When we got back to the camp ground we roasted hot dogs and grilled hamburgers and then went and played on the amazing playground. rofl. We played some "tetherball" or w/e and tried to climb on this huge tire. When it got dark Matt and I listened to some music for awhile, then got ready for bed...and he ran out of the men's bathroom to give me soap. =)

Monday we left around noon and I drove him home. Definently a tiring weekend...but worth it. =)

Pictures later.

Jess.
