korean?

So, my friend really likes some KPop groups. Beast and Suju are her favorites... I think.
Basically she would watch Arashi with me, and something would remind her of one of the groups and then she would show me a video of them. Really, the dancing is very impressive, this is a neutral observation, the dancing is amazing.

Now no, I'm not leaving Arashi for KPop. I'm pretty sure my heart would just stop working if I were to just leave Arashi, they're my one true loves and if I get in a relationship with someone, its a relationship with him, me, and Arashi.

But, background information here on me and Super Junior.
Around the same time I became an Arashi fan, I watched a SuperJunior video called Happiness. ADORABLE. I really liked it but, call me crazy, but I understood Arashi's words and music more. I didn't know any Japanese, nor Korean, but their words and emotions spoke to me more (some could argue I was listening to the wrong song) but at that time Suju did not... DID NOT... appeal to me. Too much makeup... too much hair... I like my men to look like men.
For reference, here is the Happiness PV:

The one with the blonde hair in the beginning, he's adorable. I can't stress enough, he has one of the sweetest voices I've ever heard and I will fight anyone on that.

Now then, I come to Japan and my friend reintroduces me to them. Mind you, its been nearly 5 years.
Now they look like this:

Okay... I know some of the makeup it's still there. And I was weary of that when I first saw the video.
But when I saw my favorite, Sungmin, omg he's still adorable!!!
Heechul is the bitch at 1:24 writing a card... bad present -__-
Leeteuk is at 2:22... right after Sungmin. Taking pictures... another bad present...
Sungmin (!!!!!!!!!!) is at 2:09 .. playing the piano
Anyway, they're more manly now. (for those who know who I'm talking about) Heechul is still a bitch. But what I'm getting in this post is... this.

In the Korean language, there are words for pet names.
Oppa (term of endearment for a boy) Noona (term of endearment for a girl) Miina (beautiful girl)
Anyone who knows Korean can correct me.
But honestly I love these terms.
My favorite in Suju are Sungmin, Leader....Leeteuk... fah idk xD and Heechul. *see above*
I call Heechul... Heechul-Oppa.
I KNOW. I KNOW. You don't have to tell me, I'm going crazy.
But seriously if you watch their performances, you cannot deny their talent. Go watch Bonamana, or Sorry Sorry and become educated.
I'm not trying to preach but for me this isn't a battle for Arashi vs KPop anymore. Arashi is so popular in Japan and Asia right now that their shit don't even stink.
Anyway, I'll say it, I like KPop. No, not all KPop. I like Super Junior. Beast... meh.. too much eyeliner, take it down a notch.
But SuperJunior is like... idk. They have member Ai.
This post wasn't supposed to be a Super Junior rant... it was supposed to be about how I like the Korean terms of endearment... fuck.
Anyway, I love those terms and... if I ever had a Korean BF I'm pretty sure he would HAVE to call me Noona. Or Miina ;D I like that term better ;]
But I like Oppa... I even call my Japanese guy friends Oppa. It's cute :] YOU CAN'T DENY THAT ITS CUTE.

Anyway, I know, I'm such a traitor. But... I like the song No Other a lot :[ SHOOT ME.

The lyrics are really nice, it makes me feel like I don't need a BF just yet. And honestly, when I listen to the song, I'm actually not focusing on Suju (shhh) I'm focusing on my Sho poster thats right next to my bed.
Don't hate cuz you ain't me. <3
