I really am actually pretty excited for the release of My Chemical Romance's new album.
Their first album in 2 years.
My friend adn I were reading the article in Rolling Stone and my reaction was "2 YEARS?! WHAT HAVE THEY BEEN DOING IN 2 YEARS?!" My friends response was marraige, kids, the frontman GErard started writing comic books.
My response was... Arashi can manage a music career, interviews, photoshoots, dramas/movies, and tour, and still manage to have a personal life. Ohno didn't take 2 years off just do his own side project and then have his exhibition. So, really, what MCR's excuse?
I've been spoiled by Arashi haven't I? XD
Of course though MCR holds a very dear place in my heart. Kind of hard to put my finger on why. They represent a time in my life where I felt lower than low 99.9% of the time and did and felt somethings that no 14-15-16 year old should feel.
'Course after Black Parade I was like... what is this?, because I liked the 'old stuff better' (Arashi's old stuff is just as amazing as their new stuff.... spoiled again XD)
I'll fight to the death on the fact that they stil could have had a music career and their own lives but I'm not going to get into that.
I could even go to the old people home/Target and have a full blown debate about it with the 2nd guitar player Frank Iero (yeah they live unbearablely close).
^ farest to the left, try seeing that walking around your town. sheesh.
But, I'm actually excited for it. I could say I miss them... kind of. I'm not sure what I miss about them that Arashi can't possibly do for me but I think it's just the fact that their music is nostalgic for me now. Like that one band you used to listen to everyday and you juts grew out of them, but then you see they're coming to a city near you and you can't stop yourself from wanting to buy the tickets. Because you can still sing every single song and follow the guitar riffs and drum solo.
I actually used to like the 1t guitar player, Ray Toro. I thought he was the best, and I did like him for his looks. I mean I thought he was HOT. Not syaing he isn't but...

Even so though, I will be buying the new album, and going to the concert when they... come to a town by me *headdesk* Or just decide to drive 20 minutes to the PNC Bank Arts Center and have a concert XD
Whichever.
I might even make an ass out of myself and represent Arashi while I'm there.
Like the kids that still listen to them can take me on ;]
But yeah. XD Just thought I'd share... that rant.
How did it get into a Sho-love fest, no idea. Doesn't everything? ;]
