updates from the land of the sleep-deprived sickie

So it took me two weeks less than last year to catch something from the kids at school. I have a self-diagnosed throat infection, which is possibly an upper respiratory infection instead/too. I've spent most of the weekend resting, both with and without E., who has spent more time here this past week than at her place, thanks to a leaky roof that, despite multiple promises, has yet to be fixed. So we took good care of each other. Love that.

I am now (finally) showered and dressed and off to meet the fam (minus Dad, who is in Europe on business) for Mom's birthday brunch.

Ugh, I can't think. Way too clogged and pooped. Maybe some QT with the fam will help. Or maybe not. We shall see.
