This is a bit late, but
I WON!
I started and finished a sweater in seventeen days, including blocking and sewing on the buttons. I totally rock the house.
Here's the winning sweater:
I made it out of maths from my brain and learned rather a lot from this. Mostly, I learned that I can make clothing out of math and yarn. I was doubtful - but lookit! I have a sweater! Also, wash and block yer swatch, Jess. This is an important step. Anyway, it's warm, comfortable, and fits me reasonably well.
