Christmas Christmas Christmas!
Last week of school for the semester! Who-hoo! This semester was rough, and it humors me that next semester will be about 10 times worse. Its kinda fun to think that in about a month, I will have no life. Not that I have much of one right now, studying for finals and all.
Today Amanda and I went to my family Christmas party. It was small this year, hardly anyone came. We got to sit on Santa's lap and catch up on gossip with the fam. We accomplished all of this on about 5 hours of sleep and a decent wine hangover.
Last night Jack, Manda, Linds and me had a relaxing time drinking wine and playing truth or truth. Then it was interrupted by a few other friends. We ended up going out at 1:30am and not going to bed till 5ish. (We'll keep it between us, Manda)
Ok storytime: On the way to get my car today something hilarious happened. This is no exaggeration folks. Manda was walking over the barrier between the railroad tracks and started to slip, then her foot caught on the chain thingy and she completely biffed it. Oh man. We were on one of the busiest streets on campus too. It made for a good laugh. I love you and don't hate me for wanting to remember that moment. "Don't laugh! Just get to the car! NOW!!"
The holidays make me confused. They make all the happy memories come back. Why? Can't everything just be back to normal...
I REALLY want to make christmas cookies. The good ones: sugar cookies shaped like christmas trees and then decorate them with homemade frosting and sprinkles. If this sounds like a good idea to you let me know. We'll make it happen.
