A few thoughts on tonight's episode, FWIW....

Um... okay...

Was I the onliest only one who found this episode just a tad... er........ boring?

Sam, Rodney and Keller falling through a sinkhole and spending the whole episode trying to escape.

Don't get me wrong - it's nice that they put their heads together and tried to come up with ways to get out by ( Read more... )

*points to avatar* As I told one of my other friends I think I was too hard on this episode. *hangs head in shame* I was focusing too much on the big picture and I almost overlooked all the little things.

I didn't get to see Amanda's comments about her acrophobia - I think after hearing that I would've been more keen on seeing the episode and enjoying it more. A lot of the eps this season have been pretty hit and miss IMHO.

I did like their ideas of escape, like I said putting their brains to work instead of relying on technology to beam them out of trouble. Yeah, that "20 questions" thing was so awkward..

Methinks I take the show a little too seriously sometimes. I've got to lighten up. Heh... Anyway I'm glad that you enjoyed it. :) Like I said I did enjoy some of the little things, that just escaped me when I was first watching it and writing my review. Maybe feeling sick had something to do with it, too... the medicine I'm taking makes me a little crazy now and then, lol

LOL... I know what you're saying! I did miss Ronon in this episode. Looks like there is more of a focus on him next week though (and Teal'c makes an appearance... though I was laughing a bit over his hair!).

Still sick ??? *big cyber hug* I just realized that hugging you like that won't even make me sick by accident. Neat :)

I rarely take Rodney eps seriously because ... well, it's Rodney !!!
I might even focus on the big picture more - if I knew what it was *g* But like I said, that's the only Season 4 ep I've seen so far and I'm not too spoiled on it. We're up to Carson dying in season 3 and that's it. After seeing that particular episode on Wednesday I was contemplating murder though. I knew he'd die during the season, but it was so incredibly sad :( I'm just glad that Keller seems to be nice as well. Will still miss Carson though ... and I'm getting way off topic, sorry :)
Wish I could see next week's episode as well :( You're lucky.
