I feel like an idiot now for getting worked up over the supposed news of MS being approached to do the third Stargate series. Turns out it was just a rumor. From Michael Shanks Online:
We have just received confirmation from Michael via his publicist that the information regarding his reported involvement in the series is "completely unfounded and unsubstantiated. No one has contacted Michael with any such news/offerings/ideas, etc."
As far as Michael is concerned, this is "just an unfounded rumor."
*Whew* No doubt some people may still try to lobby tptb to get him on there... but I am glad it's just a rumor. Maybe it's just me but I'd like to see this third show with a completely new cast... if they want to bring in a minor character from SG-1 it may not be so bad. But I think it should be a fresh start, so to speak.
Anyway...
MSOL also reports that a new two-figure pack of SG action figures will be available to order next spring. The figures are of Daniel in robes and Anubis. You can preorder them here: http://timespacetoys.stores.yahoo.net/stsgasacfi2.html
Maybe it's just me but I think it looks more like Martouf than Daniel, lol
David Hewlett also had a funny reaction to the new McKay figure on his blog. LOL, poor guy!
