..... I was just in a car accident. I was heading home from work around 4:05pm, going straight (think I was doing about 40 mph) and had a green light. Suddenly this car makes a left turn and comes shooting across the intersection. I started to hit the brakes but it was too late and we collided. My airbags went off and I quickly piloted the car

OMG! I am **SO GLAD** that you are okay! Feakin g stupid drivers! That sounds almost like exactly what happened when I was in an accident 3 years ago. Someone ran a red light. And I hate air bags! That's what broke my nose and burnt my face!

Thanks so much for the hugs! *hugs back* Yeah the other driver was a girl around late teens-early twenties. And when her mom showed up she actually said "I had a feeling she'd get in a car accident." Ouch, the air bags broke your nose and burnt your face? That's awful! I'm still coughing a bit but I got the taste of the smoke out of my mouth.

I've been sitting watching some tv and feeling a little better but I guess I could start feeling something tomorrow. I'll definitely keep that in mind, I appreciate the concern Sue! :)

I'm ok, thanks for the hugs! I was so glad that no one was hurt... today my chest is a bit sore from the air bags going off but I think that will subside. I'm going out to dinner tonight with a friend to get my mind off it.

I'm okay thanks. :) I'm a bit sore but they said that was to be expected. I should be fine. I'm just glad that no one was hurt. It was pretty nerve-wracking.

AHH just callded and left a message - sooo glad it was your car and not YOU! That poor car has been in so many accidents this past few months... but that is why they have fenders and air bags... *hugs* I hope you are calming down, I know it is very scary!! *more hugs, and a plate full of cookies - aka my dinner*

Thanks for the hugs :) Yeah first the poor baby had a van back into it and now its front is smashed up.... but I'm glad that it wasn't me! Yum, cookies... I feel a lot better now. :D
