Change is a natural process which human beings undergo until the day they die. Physical, mental, emotional changes are made constantly - whether we choose to see it or not. Some people respond well to change, others negatively. It's all in our attitude towards it. If we accept change as is, as a natural thing that happens to everyone, then it becomes an easier concept to grasp. However, there are the few who thwart what truly defines change and demean it as merely a negative aspect of life that only occurs for the worst reasons. Change can be good or bad, though. There's no deciding what is what, however, because it all lies in the eyes of the beholder. Some people become completely different people overnight and lose sight of what really matters - a sign of bad change. It's important that when we change, we improve upon ourselves and we learn from our mistakes, not make more ones. I know someone who has changed more than they realize and they've become almost a stranger to me. I barely know her anymore and I can't even fathom why she has decided to leave behind her good friends who have stuck with her through everything. She used to be a really good friend of mine but now I can barely call her a friend at all - she isn't there for me, she isn't there for anyone but her new friends. She used to be able to balance it all but now I am unsure of what has happened to her, what has changed about her. I am moving on, though, I don't need to waste my time with people who don't care about me.
