The top pic looks like Lotus, but I dunno, since I don't even know where they grow. They are the flowers at the end of The Mummy Returns, that go flying into the pyramid. Also if anyone plays magic, they're on cards like, Black Lotus, Lotus Vale, Lotus Petal, and so forth.
i used to play magic when i was younger because my boyfriend played and he taught me how. you are right, it does look sort of like a lotus flower. it is actually a cirrus flower that only blooms once a year for 8 hours.
