Graduation
My baby will be graduating from the 3rd grade in a few hours! This is a big deal for her. This school and it's sister school (the one she used to go to) both only go through 3rd grade. So she's been looking forward to this for 6 years now. She's going to have to give a speech!
I'm worried about her dress... I took her shopping last weekend to buy a dress. I wanted a fancy dress but I didn't want to have to go all the way to the mall, so we went to Kohl's and she picked out this dress:
Is that fancy enough? All of their dresses were like that, slinky polyester knit with bold patterns. She likes it, but I was thinking Pastel Taffeta or Satin... I offered to take her to Ross but she liked that dress.
She doesn't like her shoe choices. I told her "no new shoes". She has a pair of white sandals and a pair of black mary janes that are practically new. I was thinking that the sandals would be best, but she's worried that the white flowers on them will clash with her dress. This morning she decided she wants to wear the MJs... However, I need to buy her some tights or dressy white socks for the MJs! Ack! I suppose tights would be good to cover her scraped up knees...
This is why the fashion impaired should never have children!
