bugs in rice
gross.
Last night we had rice for dinner. (With other stuff but rice is what's important.)
Tonight the kids had some leftover rice. On Des's plate, I see two cooked worm-like bugs on his plate. Ugh....They look very similar to rice, except they have tiny legs.
Des is done eating by this point so I don't bring it up. The rice is chucked into the compost. The chickens will love our rice 'n' bugs!
I look it up online because I'm grossed out. Apparantly, it's normal and all grains have eggs and will hatch when conditions are right. ugh ugh ugh.
I don't get grossed out often but this is fucking gross. Only other thing that grosses me out is the fact that there are some people that make, eat, and serve cheese with maggots in it. holy fuck, that is fucking gross.
