(no subject)
So like, for the storm. You could see the rain coming across the lake. There were tons of boats out, and they started as fast as they could for shore. There was a jet skier, and I felt so bad for him. He was getting blown all over the place.
I went to Bernhard's house and got inside a second before the rain started. It was awesome. xD Then Bernhard walked away while I was watching the storm and his aunt kept talking to me in German. I basically nodded a lot and said "yeah."
When I went home, I saw my neighbor's boat UPSIDE DOWN in the water. Oh man. It was so funny. (they're dumb). There was only one road you could take to get to my house, the rest were covered with these huge trees. One of my neighbor's had a tree hit the house, roll off, and smash into their truck. Daamn. Double hit.
THEN, yesterday, there were tons of helicopters flying around, taping my neighbors pushing the boat over. It was really lucky for them that they were there because immediately after, a house was set on fire down the street from me. When the fire department came, they couldn't get to the house because there were trees blocking it, so they ran the hose down the street to the house. The house is totally destroyed, and it was a million dollar home. It set the electric pole on fire and we obviously lost power.
So yeah, that was an epic storm. You should've driven down Willams the other day. Every traffic light was out and traffic was directed by cops. Trees smashed windows & roofs of both houses & cars.
