A friend of mine gave me a list of numbers of places to rent in the Bisbee/Sierra Vista area that she had found in the paper. I called one, and had a good coversation with the guy. We've had soo much bad luck, and our dogs are soo sweet. My dog was in jail for a month in SF because some dude wanted to start problems with us. He called my friend Pancho a spic, and when I got in his face he sucker punched my husband. Before I could get Memphis away from the fight, she grabbed his pant leg. So of course the douche called the cops, then the animal cops showed up, and we had to go to court to get her back. At the trial, the douche bag was like "... I didn't even have a problem with the dog, it was with the hispanic kid who asked me for a ciggerette." Of course I got her back, but they refused to give her back to me before she was spayed. I was going to spay her anyway, I just don't like being forced to do anything. Especially not because she is of a certain breed.
A week later, my dog was ON LEASH at a dog park, and some dude with a little yappy mop dog kept throwing a ball right at her, then yelling my dog was after his dog. (She wanted the ball, and couldn't have gave a crap less about his dog.) This ended with us having a paddy wagon show up, with a dog cop with one of those noose things showing up. At least then when I explained what happened they just apologized and left, but told us to get my dog out of their town.

I love my pitts. They're the smartest, most loyal and protective dogs I've ever had. If it wasn't for my female, I would have been kidnapped and who knows what else while hitching. I just don't understand why people are soo ignorant, even people I like. My best friend's husband won't let me watch their son here because he thinks that they'd do something to them. I wonder what everyone would think if they watched my 9 month old daughter crawl all over them, poking them in they eyes and pulling ears...
