Money is good, but it still sucks...
If you're reading this, I'm starting to think that for all money is good, it is way over rated. I was all excited to get my first pay check today...but the sad thing is, I already know what most, if not all, of it is going to. Which equals no fun for the Asian. Oh well. These things happen.
OH I AM SEEING THAT MOVIE AGAIN!!! The Group and I went to the movie last night and it was what I was hoping for. I liked it a lot. Now, I don't expect many people to agree with me - much like "Moulin Rouge" - because this is only based on my opinion. Of course, as mentioned, I will have no fun, so I probably won't get to see it again for a while.
Last night was also fencing class. I was surprised with how I did. I didn't win all my bouts - I usually only get two out of three - but I beat the girl who usually gets the better of me, and I did really good against the left handed fencer. I ususally find it difficult to get an edge on him, but last night, I just got fed up with it and was really aggressive. I was close to winning it, but then I walked into his blade as I went for the final point. Bummer. I was amused because Vladimir's face was like, "Oh, so close." But, over all, I was pleased with my progress. It's gonna suck after next week when the class is finished. If only I had $70 and transportation to Chicago. Then I could continue this at Fencing 2000. Vladimir teaches there too, and there are excellent coaches. I was surprised at that there were three Olympic medalists in the ranking. Perhaps I will save up for next summer.
