Ah, June.... I've been waiting for you for so long. The end of foaling season means that I can finally have a life again. Which means, I'm suddenly very busy! lol
Calendar sales are going smashingly, I'm so excited with how well they've been received. I can't believe how beautiful they've come out... the best part is that they highlight all of the amazing parts of the SCA that we have, the pictures are gorgeous (how could they not be with Esmeralda behind them?) and you can use them to show people what, exactly, it is that we do. Anyway, enough proud parent talk. If you haven't gotten yours yet, I will have them at June Crown, as well as making a stop at Bart practice and Golden Rivers Gather.
Packing up to go down to HRH Conrad's coronation... should be fun, I'm vaguely intimidated because it will be a lot of people I don't know, but that is good for me, right?
Looking forward to June Crown... a nice lazy event with no responsibilities and no duties sounds right up my alley right about now. I'm REALLY enjoying my self-imposed "mini-break" from working on Court. Of course I simply rolled all that energy over into calendars, but hey, it's a break in that I'm not running around at every event... sort of. :)
May Coronet was lovely... Loclan and Vigdis were camping with us, and I had a chance to get to know them over the weekend. They are very genuine, happy people and I think they will do a wonderful job for Cynagua. If you have a chance to meet them, introduce yourself and say hi, they are very nice!
There has been some stuff going on in the SCA that I'm not very thrilled over, and it's harder for me because it is people I consider friends acting in a less than stellar manner... but what can you do but wait for it to blow over?
At any rate, nice lazy June... yay!
sca,
life
