1) Horses? Really? Is there anything else you'd rather be doing as a job?
Honestly... no. Not only am I very good at my job, it's constantly shifting and changing, creating more abilities for me to learn and grow. I get to be outside a lot of the time, and I have a skill that many others don't. I grew up wanting to be a horse... when I realized that wasn't possible, working with them was the next best thing. Now, I would like to move within this career, and get a job buying the high dollar horses for the high dollar clients... but I'm working on that part. :)
2) How did you get into the SCA?
Long story short... my "aunt" Gwenllian played. I came with her a few times... and then there was this boy... and well, the boy disappeared but the SCA stayed.
3) I love your SCA name, where did you come up with it?
LOL. Well... I showed up at the consultation table. I asked Flieg if he could help me and he kindly agreed (I was 14.) :) I then looked up at him with great big eyes and told him that I'd always wanted to be Arwen from the LotR... He was very patient and told me that wasn't period, but helped me find something similar (Arianwen.) He then explained that it was a 14th century Welsh name, showed me the most common forms of female 14th century stuff (thus "ferch," or "daughter of") and then I came up with Sir Morgan as my father, hence the full name. I created many stories of my persona in those years... :) I will always have fond memories of Flieg and his kindness to a shy young girl.
4) Would you ever move back home? I know it starts with Green...
Absolutely not. I left the boonies behind and I'm not looking back. lol I hate being cold and wet, and as snow involves both of those, Greenville is not the place for me. As well, it's just so freakin quiet and far away from everything... I've gotten quite content with being able to get somewhere without driving for 2 hours!
5) What's your favorite color? Blue? Any others? Definitely blue. Especially dark blue. I like hot pink too. :D Used to hate it but I've grown.
