Chilly down with the fire gang.
Having three days off in a row isn't that bad, even if they are Mon-Wed instead of during the weekend. Spending my time looking for and applying to jobs, but I still find the process annoying and exhausting. Ah well. My other choices are either a return to unemployment (no thank you) or accepting that this current job is now my "career" (*shudder*).
ANYwho, here's some news of the updatey variety:
1) My sister got her driver's license on Saturday. She also has a car that she got for free, but it's pretty much undrivable until it gets like $1,500 in work.
2) Victoria and I went to a Labyrinth singalong (and quotalong) at the coolidge theater in Brookline. So fun. I've got to say, there was a lot of stuff I either forgot about or never noticed in that movie. I don't remember Sarah being that whiny. I don't remember Jareth's bulge being that big. I think I've got to say that my two favorite parts of the experience were 1) everyone quoting the little Worm guy at once, while screaming the adorable accent ("NO I SAID 'ELLO BUT THAT'S CLOSE ENOUGH!"), and 2) Singing "Chilly Down" while the theater was filled with red balloons that we then bopped around as if they were our detachable heads. Brilliant.
So yeah. There's your update. Go back to your business.
