APARTMENTSSSSS WOO!!!
i am so excited. i was in contact with kayt, one of the two girls that have the apartment for like a couple weeks and i was supposed to go see it on sunday but she never got in touch with me to tell me what the apartment number was. i was waiting for like 4 days. so she called me on monday and practically cried on the phone because she was so sorry she effed me over...turns out one of her friends' moms died over the weekend so she was out of town (she's from south dakota) and she said i could go see it that night. so i went with my mom on monday night and her roommate, kara, let us in. i took a bunch of pictures of it and talked to kara for awhile, asking her lots of random questions that mike had given me. here is a picture of their really cute kitchen.
they have a couple walls painted...the dining area is bright, pretty rich red and the kitchen is blue, obviously. everything else is white. mike is nervous that we're going to have to paint when the lease is up in august but kara said she would take care of it with the leasing manager, and if she wants it repainted that kara would do it.

we have been shopping and getting all sorts of awesome stuff. mike got us a bed last night down in md and i went to ikea and got some really pretty sconces for over the bed, and a flower pot, and some mirrors and a coffee table. i can't believe that in one week we will be moving in...ack!
