Friends Purge
Well I tried and that's all I can say. Either way I do this, I'm still the bad guy in the eyes of those involved. I totally understand.
I'm doing a major friends purge. I think we'll all be better off in the end, don't you? I'm sorry to the people who I hurt and those that got caught in the middle. I've learned a valuable lesson and that is honesty. From now on I'm going to act with honesty. No more forcing friendships with people that I'm simply not compatible with and no more obsessing endlessly about what people are going to think of me.
If you are one of the ones I purged, chances are its quite mutual but if for some reason you want to remain friends with me let me know.
Final Benny update. She's doing awesome! I call her Frankenkitty now because of her horrible looking scars but she's like her old self again. I'm not sure if she'll ever forgive me for all that but at least she's safe now. I would like to submit one more thank you so much to all the people who posted the "help Benny" banner and to those who offered donations and kind words. My loan money comes in at the end of August and I would like to give the money back to all of those that donated over $1. I'm not rejecting the money you gave and I'd appreciate no arguments on the subject. I don't know if I can live with the knowledge that I took money from people. It's my own guilt really. I'd refund every penny except that Paypal takes out a small percentage so refunding anything under a $1 ends up being not worth it. If you'd like me to send you a check, I'd be happy to do so. Just drop me a line. Again, thanks for all your help.
