The Spritas: Antoinette
Here, have a spares update!
I really wanted to test out the actual apartments feature of Apartment Life, so generation four spare Antoinette got the honour of being my guinea pig. She was the only Sim in my Sim Bin, and she had a boyfriend already lined up, and that boyfriend was unusable in the main legacy thanks to his deleted eyes. All of these things guaranteed that the guinea pig would be her. So here she is signing the lease agreement.
Apparently Antoinette's neighbours greeted her, but in fact they all just disappeared into their respective apartments. No matter: instead we invited her husband-to-be, Owen Piper (dothesmustle), over =D
They immediately try for baby on the SOFA, because EAxis is stupid and built an apartment with absolutely NOWHERE to place a double bed accessible from both sides. Brains: they lack it.
Then she proposes~
Celebratory making out ensued
Then due to testingcheats miraculous intervention, Antoinette rapidly popped.
Antoinette: I KNOW THE FOOD IS ALREADY ON A COUNTER BUT SERIOUSLY I DO NOT SEE A SPARE COUNTER TO MOVE IT TO ANYWHERE =(
Antoinette: Oh wow I popped again!
Owen: ~Juggling Time!~
Owen: *juggle juggle*
Antoinette: Isn't he just a picture of perfection? =D
Then she gave birth.
To twins, of course.
For some reason Mulberry Pie (simsforaranya) was in attendance
This is Michael --
Owen: o sweet someone was making sandwiches better go finish this up
-- and this is Jill! They're named after people who wrote my French Revolutions textbooks, LMAO. They both inherited the hazel eyes than Owen is SUPPOSED to have but won't show. The eyes show up on the younger generation. IDGI :(
Where you going with those sandwiches? You can't give them away for free!
Owen: oh yes i can :)
That very evening, Jill grows up to be a toddler and is VERY CUTE
Michael is also cute but with less red hair
Michael is also VERY WHINY
Whereas Jill simply entices others to play peek-a-boo with her
Antoinette: woot i got demoted :)
This is how the twins spent the entirety of their toddlerhood... skilling
Then Jill grew up to be a GORGEOUS child!
And here's Michael's head. He is similarly cute.
As for what I thought of the apartments, which were what I actually wanted to test out... eh. It was annoying that they kept serving food in the common area on the complete other side of the lot, and that the lot was designed so appallingly badly that there was nowhere to put a double bed. I SHALL HAVE TO TEST AGAIN. In a better, probably downloaded, apartment block =D
